Today is Today

I remember one writing on a yoga school notice board, it touched me then and it touches me now

It is not them - it's you
It is not there - it's here
It is not then - it's now

What does it tell you?

Tell me Why

"If you have to travel, you have to travel", my husband said. "When you are happy, I'm happy".

People ask why I will leave home for months to travel. Yes, I am sure it could be interesting to set up a new kind of life here at home when not working. I could wake up early and do my yoga practise, have a late breakfast, go to a market place to buy beetroots, cook and try new recipes, have an afternoon tea and read a good book, go biking or running, watch a good movie or go to a theatre with a friend. There's plenty of things to do. Or just be and not do anything.

But I gotta go.

Traveling solo has it's pros and cons. You can decide when and where to go, you can socialize with other travelers or locals if you want to or you can just be alone. But the hardest thing is when you can't share your experiences with someone. When you come home, somebody may politely ask how it was, but who really cares afterall. But now I hope to be able to share my adventures with You.
